www-whiteA number of sites on the World Wide Web relate to earthquake engineering and seismic qualification of equipment.  Those that may be of particular interest to SQUG members are listed below.

If you identify other sites that members may be interested in, please forward the URL of those sites to the SQUG Webmaster at: squgwebmaster@mpr.com.

SQUGLIST – SQUG operates an email list server (SQUGLIST) that allows members to send and receive email messages to/from other registered users.  The purpose of this service is to facilitate discussion of the SQUG methods and other related equipment seismic qualification methods.
Note:  Only SQUG members and contractors hired by SQUG members have access to SQUGLIST.  Please send an email to squgwebmaster@mpr.com if you need assistance to register to use SQUGLIST.

eSQUG – SQUG Earthquake Experience Database (QA version) – This web site, sponsored by EPRI on their QA server, provides engineers a user-friendly way to access the SQUG Seismic Experience Database, a comprehensive set of data obtained from a wide variety of equipment that experienced earthquakes.  These data are intended for use with the SQUG procedures for seismic qualification of New and Replacement Equipment (NARE).
Note:  Access to the eSQUG web site requires a different User ID and Password than the one used to access the SQUG web site you are currently viewing.  To obtain an eSQUG User ID and Password, follow the instruction on the home page of eSQUG.

SQURTS – The Seismic Qualification Reporting and Testing Standardization (SQURTS) program is an EPRI-sponsored group of utility members who periodically shake table test equipment and parts.  The seismic qualification reports from these tests may be shared by all members of SQURTS for use at their nuclear power plants.

EPRI – The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) maintains an extensive web site with data and reports that can be used by SQUG members.

USGS – Earthquake Hazards Program – Information on worldwide earthquake activity, earthquake science, and earthquake hazard reduction.
