SQUG Training Course Videos

One of the training courses that SQUG has prepared is a five-day course that teaches engineers how to apply the SQUG method for performing seismic walkdown screenings and engineering evaluations of equipment in nuclear power plants using the Generic Implementation Procedure (GIP).

Videos of several introductory sections from this SQUG Walkdown Course may be viewed by clicking on the links in the following table.  Sections I.A, I.B, and I.C of the course provide an overview of the background, history, development, and use of the experience-based method.  Section II illustrates some of the key elements contained in the GIP and Section VIII describes several implementation topics. All the other sections of the course are presented during the 5‑day SQUG Walkdown Course moderated by an instructor.

The following table also provides links for you to download the sections of the Student Workbook covered in the associated videos.  We suggest you download these Workbook sections prior to viewing the videos and use them for taking notes while viewing the videos.
